Charming ceramic tile and high quality wooden coffee or side table by Ox-art Denmark.
This rustic, square coffee table has a high quality wooden with aluminium base.
The ceramics top has a nice pattern on it, which gives the piece a high decorative value.
The brown, beige and grey colour tones compliment eachother beautifuly, adding a nice harmony to the overall design and making the different materials blend together smoothly.
It is signed Ox-Art in the corner of the top.
Ox Art tables of this size are increadibly rare and this is an early example. They were made in the 1970's for Trioh.
Amazing example of classic mid century danish design.All tiles are completely intact with no chips or cracks and the glaze is simply beautiful and very tactile.
The base is made from beautifully rich teak and features gorgeous interlocking joinery, lovely pronounced joint caps
CONDITION
This is in very good-to-excellent-condition.
Structurally sound, the tiles are in excellent condition
The teak frame has been restored, but still it might show very minor marks.
