The firm was founded in London by Newman Richardson, shortly before the end of the first World War, to deal in Government surplus.
The first wall fixed range known as Tapley SL ( SL for spirit level because
there was one in every batten ) was launched in 1961 and was available until 1978 when it was replaced by the 33 range. The shelves we have for sale are from the 33 range.
