Five graduated drawers, the upper one being compartmentalized

 

Alfred Cox's mid-century chest of drawers Alfred Cox for Heals Chest of drawers in walnut on raised tapered legs, this object was made by a cabinetmaker of great collection. 
Alfred Cox was a great post-war British furniture designer. 
He worked mainly with walnut and teak, designing and producing quality items of superb craftsmanship that are in great demand today. 
Many Alfred Cox furniture has been sold by the quality department stores Heals, Harrods, Maples & Co etc.

Condition: 
In excellent restored condition, with extremely minor age-appropriate wear.
Drawers run smoothly, clean with signs of use
