Very stylish and extremely useful compact Danish open bookshelf c1950/60.
A fantastic size that would work well in a bedroom or lounge. 

Designed in the style of Frantisek Jirak for the Czech publisher Tatra Nabytok. 
It was most probably produced in the 1960s.


A ‘Waterfall’ style pine bookcase, graduating in depth from the top to the bottom
This furniture is made of pine.

The upper part has 2 shelves  (one with a partition)ideal for displaying books and decorative objects. 
The lower part is a cupboard with black painted sliding doors with yellow inserted handles.

 

Condition:
It is in a good original condition.
The unit presents wear and tear commensurate with use and age (scratches, dents...)
The black doors have small traces of use
Cleaned and waxed.

78.5 cm wide
11 cm depth at the top/ 22 cm depth at the bottom
83.5 cm high
Cupboard height 29 cm
Distance from cupboard to top shelves is 23 cm
Distance between upper shelves is 14 cm
